Quite bad.

Few RPGs have controls as bad as this one. Heck few games and Ive played hundreds. The graphics are obviously dated since its an old game but they are not terrible. The music is what made me play on as its really quite beautiful. Combat is button mashing but the gameplay is fun enough, I guess. There are some unique characters who tell the worst jokes. The game tries to add variety, but the storyline is just extremely weak and shallow. There are some things I just cant get over though. The starting village seems to be the hub of the world, which makes no sense. Also the beginning is horribly unbalanced. A goblin can kill you right at the start and it seemed that the game was more about eating generic food called... Food. Dozens of it. Kill goblin. Eat. Repeat. Level up. Kill big goblin. Ehhhh waste of time and money but go ahead and play it.
